Last week as we chatted over the phone, she asked me, “Do you have any down town or fun time?”
I smiled and chuckled. As on that day I was having a super kind of fun day. I had protected and planned most of it and then some surprises came up too. Like a new coaching client is scheduled on the books. And talking with Janice was a bonus too.

So what does a fun day look like for me? What does a fun day look like for you?
Purpose:
- It is learning.
- Coaching.
Pleasure and Passion:
- Being outside and in the sunshine makes it a bonus, and Friday, I coached face to face outside. That was a double bonus right there, but really a triple bonus. As when I coach my heart multiplies in praise to the Lord. He uses my pain for good as He uses me to help clients recycle their own pain for purpose.
- Then add in a good read of a mystery adventurous book with a snack of dark chocolate, a strong coffee and/or a Coke.
- Even to partake in a visit with a dear girlfriend that I have known for decades and we’ve done studies together.
- Then later that evening I walked over 3 miles, around a lake, with my eldest niece and more chattering and walking.

It is crucial, to help us keep a life balance.
And it’s much easier to plan fun outings if you know yourself and what drives you forward.
