What lie do you need to erase?
This week, I paused and looked at the pile of books. Piles of these books. (Above) I am packing them to take to The Dwell Retreat this weekend in Muskegon, MI. I am speaking about how to get more out of your Bible, prayer time, and your spiritual gifts!
What lie do you need to erase? Why did I pause?
Because it is not like every day I watch my books come to my door, and then I unbox. Seeing all five books piled up caught me by surprise. LIKE awareness of how far I have come from that lie.
You may be a new reader here; I welcome you. Or you have been a reader for years, but what caught my breath is the reality of the lie I held on to for years, that I couldn’t write.
What lie do you need to erase?
That lie was slowly pinned to me month after month, year after year, in the abuse. “You write too personal. You write too detailed. You need to change the way you write.” After hearing that lie year after year, for over 20 years, I believed I could not write.
When I look at the books. I thank GOD. I thank God. I thank God; He gets the glory.
Yes, He takes our weakness and turns it to good, if we allow Him.
