Where do we begin to untie tangled thoughts? How do you untie tangled thoughts?

It is, one thought at a time. So we must slow down to listen!

How do you untie tangled thoughts?

Let’s practice:

  • I am no value.
  • I did not get my “to-do” list completed.
  • I am a failure.
  • I cannot do anything right.
  • I am no good.

We need to take one thought at a time to decipher where that statement came from. “I am no value.” Is that true? It’s a lie, discard. You were created in His image, is the Truth.

Next, “I did not get my “to-do” list completed.” Well you had a full day and by not competing it does that define your worth, your acceptance?

Does the thought, “you did not complete it,” make you feel as if you failed? Maybe your list has too much power over you.

Is this true, “I cannot do anything right. I am no good.” Not true.  The accuser wants you to beat yourself up.

  • Are you going to obey by bowing your thoughts to the Word?
  • Are you stuck in self-defeating lies of your mind’s chatter?
  • Name the lie you choose to slay first?
How do you untie tangled thoughts?
  1. A  thought demands entrance one by one.
  2. You must carve and cut your way back through the thought pile, backtracking to discover the real source or the sender.
  3. When did this thought start?
  4. Why did it start?
  5. A wise woman holds the thought at bay in the pause-check-lane.
  6. If it aligns to truth, she owns it and invites it in to abide with her.
  7. If it is not truth, she discards it, never allowing it to enter her mind and have  a seat to rob her of life.
  8. Scripture states, “Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; ” (2 Corinthians 10:5 KJV).
