Discover Your Sneak Peeks!
What is a sneak peek? It is a message or a blast of “an aha”, a surprise that lifts your heart, and you recall it and it wraps you up in a I WANT THAT! That is me ,when it comes to life purpose sneak peeks.
When do they happen? Through out our lifetime. Think of them as GOD uses them like a shining flash light on our pathway, a cue and clue!
Here are three sneak peeks from my life!
- In my 20s, fresh out of college, single, this scene happened in a Sunday School class for women. I purposed and prayed ahead to stay true to His Word and obey Him. Daniel 1:8a. “But Daniel made up his mind that he would not defile himself with the king’s choice food or with the wine which he drank;…” I also share a sliver of this story in the devotional book, Enable Me, Lord, to Shift, book one. - This scene was at a woman’s retreat event, in which I never knew such events occurred. The speaker delivered a talk in which I still recall the main verse and message today, and that was over 40 years ago. She taught and had her own curriculum. I saw myself doing that. This was God’s sneak peek to me of my life purpose. He does that.

- I sat alone in a large conference building in Grand Rapids, Michigan, when the speaker challenged us to seek wisdom and that it’s more valuable than rubies. That was a challenge for me with ruby being my birthstone. I prayed for wisdom. “for wisdom is more precious than rubies, and nothing you desire can compare with her” ( Proverbs 8:11 NIV). And today, I still pray for wisdom. I want to present a heart of wisdom to Jesus when I bow before Him.
