A woman asks, “How can I release my emotional pain?”
That is a great question. And I would ask, “Do you want to get it out of you?”
It is one thing to know you have emotional pain and then it is another to want to do something about it.
We were not made to have emotional pain grow within us, that is not how God intended us to live.
Questions for YOU!
- Do you have emotional pain?
- Is it growing within you?
- If so, do you want to get it out of you?
Emotional pain is like pus that is locked within. And like any wound, pus must come out, so you can be clean and have no ache and heal…but how you ask?
First, a reminder, toxicity is the MAIN ingredient in abuse. You may have been:
- Criticized
- Ignored
- Undervalued
- Manipulated
Felt and led to believe you were the crazy one and so much more. Emotional pain is like a sharp screeching howl that gnaws and claws to come out to be healed. The emotional cut is deep and the pain is so bad! Rubbing the area over your heart to erase the pain does not work. Only facing it and unpacking it with someone that gets abuse is so wonderfully good and freeing.
The chains begin to break.
How do you get the emotional pain out of you?
- Admit you are hurting emotionally. Step one!
- Acknowledge the abuse to someone.
- Answer this question, do you want to live without emotional pain?
If you have said, yes, then you have begun. That’s a start. You can do it. It takes time to unpack the pain, heal, and put the Truth within instead.
