Speak Up 2026 is now history. It was an honor to teach, lead, and meet so many precious women and kind men. I met women and men in the hallway, near the welcome area, in the peer writing critique group, in the class I taught on Tough Talks, or they landed in a chair and sat across from me in the Holy Hallway to be coached.

I have many stories I could share, and will share this one.
A lovely lady tapped me on the shoulder on Saturday afternoon, right before #CarolKent took the stage for her Keynote. This lady leaned in and said, “I want to thank you. I sat in your session last year when you taught on Draw Them In But Do Not Drown Them and I have told others about your message. I want to thank you.” I stepped back, looked at her name tag and thanked her so much. That was kind of her. To hear the message stayed with her all year long to change her writing and speaking and to tell others, blessed me.
You see reader friends, I used to teach littles and then I taught women for 14 years in my church. And then I picked up all of my coach training and started my own business in 2008. Now, I have coached women for almost 18 years from pain to life purpose, from doubt to owning the Truth, from stuck to soaring, from no books to six books, to step, to live, to walk out their life purpose with great joy.
Engage. Inspire. Empower. And that is what I love to do.
God has entrusted me with a story of tremendous loss, so I can help others recycle their pain to purpose. And I have learned to live beyond deep loss, grief and betrayal. And so can you.
