My two main roles were being hijacked in the covert abuse I lived in for over a quarter of a century, especially my favorite role, being a mom. Oh let me tell you, abuse messes up minds.
And everything I had believed about a person that I was married to, was far from the truth.

So stuck, so sad, so hurting, that is when the dead end of life met me. That occurred at the funeral home, staring death in the face staring at my 40 year old brother in a casket. The veil began to be pulled back from my eyes. Something was terribly wrong in my marriage.
And it was there God showed me, and broke through to me, I felt safer in a funeral home with grieving people. People that knew my family roots, my farm upbringing, than I did in my marriage of almost 25 years. The pain was horrific, yet, that was the breaking to awakening.

Last week, I was driving down back country roads and this picture grabbed me. I stopped and snapped the picture.
Truly, none of us want a life that is a dead end. But, let me ask you, are you believing lies?
If so, you are headed to a dead end. And the enemy is thrilled about that!
If we feel stuck, we are.
If we feel hopeless, we are deceived.
If we feel purposeless, we are deceived.
If we are fearful, we are being deceived.
I was there once upon a time and it is no way to live.
Change up the lies for the truth as only you can. Pivot to the Truth!
