How can I comfort myself?
7 ingredients to offer comfort to yourself.
1. Recognize the emotional pain you feel. The loss and the trials and what you are fearful of. Please release that fear to the LORD as fear does not come from God. Read 2 Timothy 1:7.
2. Pour out your heart pain… daily. Psalm 62:8, be deliberate on that, intentional, purposeful.
3. See a good therapist.
4. One of my favorites! Pen out your pain. Get paper and pen and write quickly all the pent up puss and putrid pain. Pour it out with a pen. Then pitch it. Shred it, as it helps release some of the angst with shredding.
