Who inspires you not to give up, but to live?

Many times for women in abuse they see others’ lives go forward, but they are so stuck. They know it, but they may not understand their story yet.

But they’re watching you and your life.

For the women in abuse reading this, what people in your life invite you to engage in your life and not to give up on yourself?

If you have never experienced any type of abuse, let me suggest you give grace to your girlfriend, or sister, or mother, or neighbor, or for yourself if you are in abuse!

GRACE. Much Grace. That means love with understanding and no shaming! Just love!

I have told people over the years, I didn’t understand what I lived in for over two decades, so how in the world could I explain it if I didn’t get it. Yet, I watched others lives closely. I listened well.

  • It’s crazy, chaotic, heart wrenching, and exhausting to live in abuse.
  • When one is blamed, negated, or shamed into submission and often scripture is used to trap and twist her up
  • Stuck!
  • Plus wallop her with a few doses of fear and threats, she barely has the strength to keep stepping day after day.
  • Then, when the “suddenlies” of life smack and hit, it’s both feet step-by-step, hunched down, baby steps
  • With tears tumbling and shoulders trembling.

If you are reading this post and in abuse, please grab some paper and a pen and go write out who inspires you NOT to give up on life? Keep the list nearby for you to glance at, like a list of silent cheerleaders!

Who has God put in your life that blesses you? They offer you hope?
