4 Truths to Fortify Wise Women!

LOVE your LIFE!

Learn how to grow in wisdom to love your life!

In my early twenties, I was naïve of how hard life could be and of the hurts that could come from life. I had been blessed with a safe wonderful upbringing. And expected more of that in my adult years. However, my life was soon to be flipped upside down. (That time is for another story, a book or two in His unfolding and timing.)  I was single and hungry to know God. I longed to grow a good life that would please and honor God.  I attended a Bible based training and heard a verse read aloud about becoming a wise person. I thought, “I want to become a wise woman.” So I began right where I could, I opened up the Scriptures to learn.

And that is what I did for many years, year after year, month after month, week after week, and day by day I opened my Bible to learn His ways and then apply the Truth.  I am thankful to share I kept in the Word and still am today. And forever grateful to God, for not giving up on me and listening to all my fusses!

This is not to say that I have arrived as a Wise Woman. No, I am still learning and I plan on learning up until the time God takes me home.

However, my years of life and my life experiences have empowered me in my growth of wisdom and kept me in a position of needing His help.

Life circumstances that caused my heart and knees to bow down to  God: Infertility, adoptions, anger, abuse, deaths, negativity, loneliness, bondage to fear, perfectionism, jealousy, hatred, anxiety, skewed surgery, betrayal, divorce, deception, the hunger and discovery of my life purpose, and growth of a ministerial business and much more, much!

4 Truths to Fortify Wise Women! LOVE your LIFE!

The Scripture is clear, “But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all generously and without reproach, and it will be given to him.” ( James 1:5 NASB).  Ask God

Wisdom is knowing the Word of God, and then in life’s situations you tap from the reservoir of the Word and apply it to your daily life circumstances. In order to know the Word, one must be in the WORD to acquire understanding or knowledge from the Bible, God’s Word.

  1. Before you even open the Word, ask God to teach you. The Word is His love letter to you, His manual, to know how to live life here on earth and forever. As a New Testament believer, the Holy Spirit lives within. He is your teacher so tap into His power through prayer.

“But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all that I said        to you” (John 14:26, NASB)  He will teach you.

  1. Set time aside each day to read and study God’s Word. Protect that time, just like you were to eat a meal or have a coffee date with a girlfriend. Do not let anything else snatch that time. After all, do you let anyone or anything stop you from eating?  “My son, if you will receive my words, And treasure my commandments within you,  Make your ear attentive to wisdom, Incline your heart to understanding; For if you cry for discernment,  Lift your voice for understanding;  If you seek her as silver, And search for her as for hidden treasures; Then you will discern the fear of the Lord And discover the knowledge of God. For the Lord gives wisdom; From His mouth come knowledge and understanding” (Proverbs 2:1-6, NASB)  Receive His Words as the TRUTH!
  1. Open up your Bible and read day after day. Whether it is one verse or many. Read each day and receive the words as God’s living, breathing and active word .I will meditate on Your precepts And regard Your ways.  I shall delight in Your statutes; I shall not forget Your word” (Psalm 119:15-16 NASB).  Recall His Words.

And also   “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom; All those who follow His commandments have a good understanding; His praise endures forever” (Psalm 111:10 NASB)  Fear God! He is alive and at work!
