How do you grow endurance? You keep stepping through the hard!
I wish I would have known this 20 years ago that when I started stepping intentionally in my lane of purpose with writing and the speaking journey, to expect change ups. My one and done plan was far from the answer. I would need to tweak this and that over 50 times or more.
How do you grow endurance? Resilience, discernment, and faith are companions!
In the book of James, chapter one, we are told, “Consider it all joy, my brothers and sisters, when you encounter various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. And let endurance have its perfect result, so that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing” (James 1:2-4 NASB). That perfect and complete is talking about the character quality that GOD wants to shape in us – is growing.
How do you grow endurance? You keeping stepping and do the HARD!
When I was living in the abuse, I prayed to die. It was HARD, yet GOD saw it all. And, I also prayed for a wise, GOD fearing woman, and someone that could handle my story as at that time I did not even know there was a name for what I lived in. And GOD answered both prayers. One, that I did not die and two, that I did hire a coach that helped me for years to step to freedom way. And now I coach others to freedom.
Do the hard, as your life purpose is within you and your GROWTH is a part of that process. It will require every morsel of your being to keep stepping to His Call. It will be hard. Expect it. Plan on it and anticipate change ups, that is what grows you through the hard.

You grow endurance, through doing the hard with GOD, through reading His Word, walking out His Word, and with the people of GOD standing with you! It will require you to keep showing up step by step.
