Grief? Loss?

How do I process grief and loss?

This is a loaded and messy and HARD topic. Matter of fact, I have a written a book about this topic that is under a literary agent’s contract.

What do you do with grief, loss, and how in the world do you process this painfilled package?

As you look at the above picture, I was in deep grief at the time. I am praying with two individuals over my grief and theirs. They were like ministering angels to my wounded heart.

Here are a few areas I’ve grieved in life. I am writing this simple and short and yet we’re talking years, months, and days with many tears.

  1. I know first hand: betrayal, deception, and human cruelty that I wish on no one!
  2. Death- three-times: the loss of my father, my youngest brother, and my mom.
  3. I have experienced the wretched pain of a home foreclosure/bankruptcy/ and all during a divorce proceeding because of one person’s choices. Pure wretched agony for the devastation of my precious children and myself.
  4. Living over a quarter of a century in an emotionally and mentally abusive marriage where I was was being whittled down by being blamed, ignored, and criticized.

What about You?

  • Are YOU hurting and grieving?
  • Do you desire emotional wellness?
  • Have you ever examined the areas of grief and loss in your life?
  • Grief comes in all types of packages. Take the inventory to see if you are healed in the grief areas of your life.

Grief-Loss Inventory for women!

It’s hard when you are the one in the throes of pain, shock, loss, and I do not get this GOD. Do not!

YOU are not alone. Look what the Word says, “These things I have spoken to you so that in Me you may have peace. In the world you have tribulation, but take courage; I have overcome the world” (John 16:33NASB).

According to this TRUTH

  1. Tribulations are/will be apart of our life.
  2. In Christ, in God, in Jesus, we can have peace.
  3. We are to take courage…
  4. He has overcome the World and truly, He has the final say.
