Imagine having nothing to hide!
Are you hiding?
Hiding something?
Hiding someone?
This newsletter header, Imagine having nothing to hide, had an open rate of over 89.1% last week. That is the highest ever open rate for Hearts with a Purpose Newsletters in over 14 years of sending out newsletters to women.
So why was this opened to such a HIGH %?
Perhaps, women resonated and women want that – Imagine having nothing to hide!
Personally, I love that phrase.
Many years ago, I cut that phrase out of print from some magazine and taped it in my Vison Board which hangs in my office. I knew then that is what I wanted to drive my life toward.
It is so freeing to live in Freedom’s Way.
Joy. Fun. Expression. Adventure. Mission. Focus. Clarity. Passion. Purpose.
The more you know the Truth and whose you are, the more you know who you are.
Are you in hiding?
Are you hiding from God?
Are you hiding someone else?
Are you hiding in shame?
Or are you living in freedom way?
When Adam and Even sinned in the garden they thought they could hide from God. Think about this, to hide from God, the Creator of the Universe, the giver of life, the Sustainer of all your needs, your Purpose Giver, your joy factor, and your personal Father God who can see into your heart? Can you hide from GOD?
Are you hiding from God?
- Perhaps in your addictions.
- Marriage issues and you don’t want to share
- Anger
- Distrust
- Doubt
- Past
- Shame
- Destructive behavior
- And more….
How long will you hide out, as the clock hands tick on your life?
Where are you hiding? What are you hiding? Shame. Secrets. Abuse. Abortion. Let’s chat as forgiveness and sharing your secret(S) is a fit to come alive and attain a fuller life. Doesn’t your mind and body want freedom way?
I think, for me anyway, a lot of the hiding has been due to faulty teachings in the church. For nearly 20 years after I got saved, I let religion quash me out of me….creative me, fun me, driven me, opinionated me…because I was taught my artistic talents and all of my creative skills were vain and would one day be burned at the last judgement because they didn’t matter, blah blah blah. So I had to hide me, and pretend to be a good christian while being bitter that God made me this way and yet didn’t want me to do anything wtih it (apparently)…in the last 10 years, I’ve come out so to speak about this….I don’t feel ashamed about past addictions before I came to Christ or sins or whatever…I struggled with the judgement I knew I Was getting from fellow believers because I didn’t fit into the box and at some point climbed out. lol I think there’s a lot of us like that.
Hi Kim, thanks for sharing a piece of your story and so sorry! And yes, I have heard and learned of this power and control through a church body. So glad you persevered and
also, that you are embracing your gifts that He has entrusted you with! 🙂 Keep stepping to His lead and the unfolding of more of your story! Blessings, Darlene
