How do I get the truth from my head to my heart?
The things you have learned and received and heard and seen in me, practice these things and the God of peace will be with you. (Philippians 4:9 NASB)

You BEGIN to Practice the WORD!
Many women grew up in church. Sat in pews. Heard Truth. Read Truth. Jumped into activities, served, but none of these things have changed their lives. What’s missing?
Thirty-five-year-old Jackie was one of those women. She needed an answer, stat. She clocked seventy hours a week in work and was on the fast track to having a breakdown.
Jackie and her husband owned their own business. They knew how to work and had three daughters. Jackie’s job as a manager of three hundred dairy animals was consuming her. Gifted in the area of discernment, Jackie knew how to troubleshoot issues, yet this skill created large doses of anxiety. She yearned to let go and transition from manager of cows to mother and teacher.
Jackie shifted from knowing a verse to “practicing these things.”
When a calf died, she chose to surrender the anxiety and repeatedly stated aloud, “Be anxious for nothing, be anxious for nothing …” (Philippians 4:6).
When she left work unfinished she told herself, “God is for me, God is for me … (Romans 8:31), instead of, “I failed, because I didn’t finish my to-do list.”
Two years later, a balanced less-stressed Jackie can state, “Trust in the Lord with all of my heart …” (Proverbs 3:5), as the cows are sold so she and her husband can change careers. In order to deposit the Word into your heart, you must shift into practicing the Truth you have received and the God of peace will be with you.
“The things you have learned and received and heard and seen in me—practice these things” (Philippians 4:9a).
Believe Truth. State Truth. Practice Truth.
