10 Beginning Steps to expose abuse: it is hard to come out and tell the truth as fear weighs on you and traps you.

#STEPS #EXPOSE #ABUSE

Often this is the question that chases abused ones around, who will believe me?

10 Beginning Steps to expose abuse and a reminder, I am a coach, not a therapist. These steps worked for me.

 1. Being safe is your home plate, find that place and/or people group that will surround you.

2.  Tell a few wise safe people how you are being treated, a safety team.

3.  Remind yourself, you have value. YOU are created in the image of GOD.

4. Remove yourself as much as possible from the abuser and his/her control. It will take courage and support. Reach out for coaching as when you work with me you will step forward Life Changing coaching

10 Beginning Steps to expose abuse:

5. If you are in abuse and codependent this will take time to step out of his or her trap.

6. Remind yourself, more than likely the abusive one has an addiction, even if you do not see them drink or view porn.

7. Coach yourself, you are not the first person that has ever experienced abuse. I made it out to thrive and so can you.

8. There are people that want and will help you and are experts to walk beside.

9. Seek out a counselor that knows abuse. I am not a counselor, but a coach. If you do not know who to get for a counselor, then contact Focus on the Family and ask for a list of therapists in your state. They have a list on their website.

10. Ask yourself, who or what can you control?

All of my books will help you grow through and past the abuse. Coaching books to grow YOU!

Reminder, you teach people how you are to be treated.
