Most people want to be understood, do you? And most people want companionship. They go hand in hand. You get me. You grasp me. Let’s walk hand in hand through life and connect and care.

However, often in life and more times than not, that does not occur.

There is more brokenness in not being understood.

Do you want to be understood? I do!

And in my next book, Leading You Through the Valley, I cover this topic about being understood.

Especially, in grief and loss and devastation, people want to be understood.

In chapter three in Leading You Through the Valley. I write on how, Jesus Understands You!

I begged for this over my journey, to be understood by the man I was married to for 27 years, yet he was abusive. And when I shifted and believed this one truth, it changed me. Jesus understood me. He got me. “You understand my thought from afar” (Psalm 139:2b NASB). He does.

Even with all the whines and whispers and the tears and the trouble we face, He understands us!

It’s freeing to know He understands, as we no longer have to be co-dependent or numb our pain. He understands you and me!

And when you work with me through coaching, you’ll be able to pivot away from co-dependency and reacting, to own this truth, He understands you. Plus, you’ll be able to recognize what trips you up in relationship neediness. And when you’re seeing more of your potential, of course you will step more into your life purpose.
