Do you need to create this recipe to face your fear and to grow grit?
First, you must answer:
- Is fear stopping you from stepping out?
- Is fear growing within you?
- Does fear climb when you read and hear of our world news?
My wisdom: Be wise to who you listen to and what you read these days.
Scripture is clear, “The fear of man brings a snare, But one who trusts in the Lord will be protected” (Proverbs 29:25 NASB).
Fear of Man or Trust in the Lord. Which will you choose?
Certain men and women do love to use fear snares. And if you sense you live in this type of environment, you have to listen well to why someone would use constant change ups, drama, and fear tactics?
What is it all about?
Also, the question you want to answer is how to stay out of the trap of a fear monger?
A fear monger is someone or a group of people that want to create drama, exaggerate, speak for others, over generalize, and have a wrongful motive for their words. Plus they do not want to offer HOPE in GOD!
You can also call them a scare monger. Their goal is to control you by casting a net of fear upon you.
I understand how this works, all too well.
When I lived in a mental and emotional abusive marriage for over 25 years, it was fear that was cast upon me like a net, to keep me trapped and to whittle me down to a state of helplessness and hopelessness.
Here are two verses that I anchored into while I lived in oppression.
Acts 17: 26-27 “and He made from one man every nation of mankind to live on all the face of the earth, having determined their appointed times and the boundaries of their habitation, that they would seek God, if perhaps they might feel around for Him and find Him, though He is not far from each one of us;”
1. God allows me and you breath.
2. He also knows when and how my, and your last breathe will occur.
3. He is very aware of where I live and where you live. Reread the verses to grasp what you are to do!
So I chose and choose to place my life in the hand of a trustworthy God.
In 2008, when the economy tanked, I was living in oppression and had just started my coaching business at Hearts with a Purpose. The state I lived in was hit hard with the economy woes.
I had so much fear mongering go on in my life you would have thought the state of Michigan was going to be swallowed up into the Great Lakes. This was a scare tactic to get me to move out of Michigan. And I knew it and I was not going to allow fear to take my life.
Fear is not of God.
Grow grit instead.
-
Stop allowing fear to control you.
-
Step toward what you fear and it will shrink in size and its hold on you.
-
Be coached to flourish and to break the chains of fear.
-
It takes time to learn to live fear free.
-
Your grit grows as you face your fear!
