“Since our stories reveal GOD, no story is ours alone. All our stories are owned by God and reveal truth; therefore no one has the right to say of his story, “This is too weird, painful, boring, shameful, confusing, or dark; therefore I will bury it.” All our stories are meant to be available for the purpose of revealing God and connecting us to one another.”

So who are you? Do you know your story speaks?
“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, And before you were born I consecrated you; I have appointed you as a prophet to the nations” (Jeremiah 1:5 NASB).
Chantel (not her real name) worked in an emergency room as a doctor and ran a busy household with two teenage sons and a daughter in college. However, her marriage was falling apart as there was no time investment with her husband. She knew she needed to stop to realign her life, but how? Her insides felt as if they were cut-up like puzzle pieces. And she was clueless as to where to begin, to feel some wholeness, and she couldn’t answer her one question, who am I?
Can you answer that question, who am I? Notice, it’s not asking what you do.
But who would you say you are?
Which of the box (es) of the statements resonate with you?
- A worn out woman. Exhausted as the busyness of life has made me feel like I am a human doer and not a human being.
- A confused, counterfeit woman. The mask of perfectionism is wearing off and I can no longer keep myself under wraps.
- A fearful, frenzied, female. Trying to enable family relationships and juggling others needs at the sake of my own sanity.
- An agitated. Anxious. Angry Woman. Life has not gone the way I expected and I am stuck.
- I’m living my dream, but I’m not content. Something seems off, like I’m not in the right position and out of sync. Did I misread my dream? What is my life purpose, if there is such a thing?

The Truth is, “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, And before you were born I consecrated you; I have appointed you as a prophet to the nations” (Jeremiah 1:5 NASB). This passage is referring to the call that Jeremiah, the prophet, had on his life. But we too can own this verse as our personal love line from God.
He has a call and a plan with your life. Sink your feet into this foundation of TRUTH that God too planned and formed you within your mother’s womb and placed within you strengths and gifting to be used to glorify our God with a unique call on your life.
