Have you ever felt the nudge, the prodding, that you are to start writing and it’s with writing devotionals?

If so, you have landed at the right blog spot.

How do I write devotionals?

Over fifteen years ago, I felt the nudge to begin writing in the midst of much transformation in my own story. I sensed I was to write on small bites and short stories and for sure teach the WORD of God in chewable chunks for women.

So I began to write.

I wanted to hook into a woman’s heart with an intentional story of transformation and teaching of the Truth. And if a woman applied that day’s verse, BOOM! Then changes would occur over time. Her WOE would become a WIN-over by applying the Truth to her life!

And as a Life Purpose Coach and a Grief-Loss Coach for women I loaded each day’s devotional with three powerful questions. If a woman answers the three questions she can see where the changes are needed in her life to go and grow forward!

  • What fun!

  • What Growth!

  • Exciting!

The first step to writing a devotional is to make certain the Word is a part of your daily diet and has changed your life and then you have much to share from!

  • Darlene…I have been working thru your books again the past several weeks. My struggle has been so fresh this past year and I felt I needed to open them up again to find what GOD had to teach me. I love how each time I have read them they speak to me in differing ways. Thank you for doing what you do. Life is hard…but GOD is so faithful. Pam
  • Each days devotional is written so simply. And so short too. But it’s a lot more profound than you expect it to be. I usually think I know where it’s going and then realize… I don’t. And then re-read it. Haha. Albert Einstein said, “If you can’t explain it simply, you don’t understand it well enough.”  It’s like that. You understand what you’re talking about. 💝N.S.
